Tornike is 11 years old and lives in Georgia--a small country just outside of Russia. His mother is a Christian, but his father is not. Tornike heard about the Summer of Hope Bible camp from his aunt. "She told me that I absolutely must go because something special awaited me there," he explains.She was right! That special moment happened on July 24 when the Lord touched him with His Spirit. "I really enjoyed the camp because I witnessed the real work of the Holy Spirit," he says. During the camp, Tornike was particularly drawn to the discussion about prayer. He learned about the power of prayer in a believer's life, and through the course of the week, Tornike was renewed. He began to realize that, as a Christian, he was called to obey his parents and not be rude to others--including his siblings. He recognized that he had been using his words to tear them down instead of building them up as Jesus would. When he realized all this, he repented and made a decision to start walking in step with the Lord, especially through his relationships. "When I return home," Tornike says, "I plan to apologize to my family members and mend my relationships with them. I will also attend Sunday school at the local church." The Lord used Summer of Hope Bible camp to renew Tornike and spoke to him through His Word. There is no limit to how God will continue to use Tornike as he grows in his faith!

Kenya Crusade is working hard to reach young people in Kenya with the Word of God using pocket-sized Gospels of John. "Through this little book, people learn about Jesus...it is amazing!" one leader exclaims. The group uses pocket-sized Gospels of John--in both English and Swahili--as gifts for new believers that have recently accepted the Lord and to introduce students in the area to Jesus for the first time. This year, the group started a feeding project in Kenya for kids. Each night of the event, every child that attends receives a meal and a Gospel of John. "Hundreds of people have come to the Lord, and we give Jesus all the glory!" he explains. "It's about bringing the Gospel to people, not just those that look like you, but to lost people all over." At one event at a local school, hundreds of students were gifted a Gospel and encouraged to read it and allow the Lord to lead their lives. The students were happy to receive the Gospel and left the assembly waving their new Gospels in excitement. Through these outreach opportunities, Kenya Crusade has a goal of reaching 1 million students in 24 months. So far, over 50,000 students have now heard the Gospel through pocket-sized Gospels distributed by Kenya Crusade. "We thank God that we are able to do this," he says. "And that we have the ability to help people meet Jesus Christ!"

Pastor Steve works at Rescue Mission at the USA/Mexico border in El Paso, Texas. The outreach does wonderful work ministering to migrants in their time of need. "When I first started serving at Rescue Mission, I would go to the migrant shelter and hand out Bibles," he explains. "Unfortunately, all the Bible's that I had were in English, so oftentimes, the migrants would not be willing to accept them, as they were not in Spanish." Pastor Steve knew that something needed to be done and relied on God to provide the solution. In an answer to prayer, Rescue Mission received thousands of bilingual pocket-sized Gospels of John. "Now, thanks to the Spanish Gospels of John that have been provided to us, I can hand out hundreds at a time when I go to our migrant shelter! I am grateful that we can now provide the Word of God in a language that the people can understand."
